In 1981 the Quennevais Kenpo School was started by Graham Lelliott.
Senior Grandmaster Ed Parker came to Jersey in 1980 and promoted Graham Lelliott to his 1st Degree Black.
Graham is one of very few Europeans who are considered direct students of Senior Grandmaster Ed Parker after having his 4th Degree signed as Mr. Parker as his instructor.
After growing the club Graham moved to California with his wife Jaydean in 2000. He now runs a successful full time school with being asked to run seminars all over the world.

Formerly known as Quennevais Kenpo School (QKS), in 2018 Quantum Kenpo moved east, relaunching as Quantum Kenpo Systems.
Staying true to our heritage and continuing the legacy of Mr Graham Lelliott and the late Mr Paul McMurray, our mission has always been to combine tradition and innovation, emphasising self defence and self-discovery before competition.
We pride ourselves on supporting all individual students and instructors with their self development. At Quantum Kenpo, each vigorous hour spent training is seen as an opportunity to build confidence, discipline and both mental and physical strength.
Melbourne Kenpo Karate
Mr Dane Barbour - Senior Instructor - 4th Degree Black Belt
Melbourne Kenpo Karate has been in existence since 2013 teaching American Kenpo in the Doncaster area of Melbourne Victoria.
The Head Instructor is 4th degree black belt Dane Barbour who by combining his training of martial arts into his knowledge of what will really work on the street has contributed to making the Melbourne Kenpo curriculum realistic and effective as well as great fun to train.
